I always had an interest in horses. When I was about 4 years old, a neighbor would give me coloring books with horses in them and the desire was then born. I started with pony rides that then evolved into riding lessons. What my parents though was a phase progressed into a life long passion.
So in the last 36 years I have ridden all over the country and in Ireland. I have a Bachelors Degree in Equine Science from Colorado State University and I am always looking to increase my knowledge about horses and everything horse related. I want to share my findings in an honest way and bring awareness to the struggles of people out there trying to live life with horses.
I currently work as a professional fire fighter and I run a OTTB rescue called Fire and Ice Horse Training and Rescue.
